Motobilt Inc., located in Ozark, Alabama is looking to add a full-time Sorting Technician to their dynamic team.

Position Summary: This role is primarily responsible for unloading parts at the Laser machine, metal parts, sorting, and counting order quantities.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

• Sorting parts into the correct pallets and prioritizing duties to keep the laser running
• Unload cut parts from sheets of metal material promptly
• Take sheets of material from the laser and knock out the parts, put parts on the correct pallets
• Organize warehouse and work areas to maintain orderliness at all times
• Wear the proper safety equipment when required
• Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to organizational standards
• Ability to work well without direct supervision, and maintain a professional demeanor
• Demonstrated detail orientation, self-motivation skills, and ability to multi-task
• Must be able to read a tape measure, use a pry bar, use hammers, wrenches, grinders, and all common hand tools
• Ability to safely lift up to 70 lbs
• Able to stand for long periods
• Hard-working with the ability to stay focused, pay attention to detail
• Other duties as assigned

Other Duties and Responsibilities:

• Will be required to cross-train as backup in other areas of the manufacturing plant and other job-related duties as may be necessary to carry out the responsibilities of the position

Basic Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent education

Preferred Qualifications:

• Strong work history
• Ability to work well with others
• Must be able to work in hot and cold environments
• Must be willing to submit to a drug screen
