Motobilt Inc., located in Ozark, Alabama is looking to add a full-time Sorting Technician to their dynamic team.
Position Summary: This role is primarily responsible for unloading parts at the Laser machine, metal parts, sorting, and counting order quantities.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Sorting parts into the correct pallets and prioritizing duties to keep the laser running
- Unload cut parts from sheets of metal material promptly
- Take sheets of material from the laser and knock out the parts, put parts on the correct pallets
- Organize warehouse and work areas to maintain orderliness at all times
- Wear the proper safety equipment when required
- Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to organizational standards
- Ability to work well without direct supervision, and maintain a professional demeanor
- Demonstrated detail orientation, self-motivation skills, and ability to multi-task
- Must be able to read a tape measure, use a pry bar, use hammers, wrenches, grinders, and all common hand tools
- Ability to safely lift up to 70 lbs
- Able to stand for long periods
- Hard-working with the ability to stay focused, pay attention to detail
- Other duties as assigned
Other Duties and Responsibilities:
- Will be required to cross-train as backup in other areas of the manufacturing plant and other job-related duties as may be necessary to carry out the responsibilities of the position
Basic Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent education
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong work history
- Ability to work well with others
- Must be able to work in hot and cold environments
- Must be willing to submit to a drug screen
