We're happy to introduce a new pay over time option with Affirm. With the holidays upon us, you might not be able to slap down a grand for a Motobilt Jeep Bumper or some body armor, and we wanted to provide an option to offer you a more flexible method of payment. Which is why we now offer this service.
So how does it work?
Simply find that skid plate system, Jeep bumper, aluminum fuel cell or whatever your heart desires, and you will now see an option to pre-qualify for this pay over time option:
As you'll see in the image above, just below the price of the product selected you'll see the Affirm option. Click the 'Prequalify now' button, and the Affirm information on available payment plans will appear. Fill out a few questions and you're on your way to finding out if you qualify. If you do, at checkout, select the Affirm payment option:
Please note: once you set up your payment option with Affirm, Motobilt is no longer involved in this payment process. You will log into Affirm.com or download the app in order to make your payments, set up reminders, etc.
Will Affirm affect my credit score?
Creating an Affirm account and seeing if you prequalify will not affect your credit score. If you decide to buy with Affirm, these things may affect your credit score: making a purchase with Affirm, your payment history with Affirm, how much credit you've used, and how long you’ve had credit.
What does it mean to prequalify?
When you prequalify, you get an estimate of how much you can spend with Affirm. You don’t have to use the full amount, and you’re not on the hook to pay anything back until you actually make a purchase.
