We are looking for a dedicated and reliable Quality Control (QC) to join our dynamic team and contribute to our continued success.
Position: The QC Inspector checks the quality of manufactured parts between the production stages and at the final stage of production. Tasks involve visual inspection tests, keeping a record of defects, analyzing products, and overseeing procedures.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Must be able to learn to read and interpret blueprints and weld symbols
- Approve parts and materials by confirming specifications, conducting a visual and measurement test, and rejecting and returning unacceptable materials.
- Approve in-process production by confirming required specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, and communicating the required adjustments to the production supervisor.
- Approve all finished products by confirming specifications and conducting required tests.
- Return products for re-work if needed and complete documentation to confirm re-work.
- Document and update inspection results by completing reports.
- Requires the ability to respond quickly to priority changes, and work well under pressure due to scheduling constraints, and perform quality work safely and efficiently.
- Ability to safely lift to 50 lbs.
- Resolve quality-related issues on time.
- Perform simple maintenance and repairs as required.
- Must be able to read a tape measure, use a pry bar, be trained on, and operate a forklift, use hammer, wrenches, grinders, and all common hand tools.
Other Duties and Responsibilities:
Will be required to cross-train as a backup in other areas of the manufacturing plant and other job-related duties as may be necessary to carry out the responsibilities of the position.
