RIVNUT, I am sure you have seen the term when installing parts on your Jeep or other vehicle. What is a RIVNUT? A rivnut is much like a rivet as they are installed by compressing the part with a tool. The rivnut is designed to add a threaded hole into thin sheet metal. Applications for this would include installing body armor panels on a Jeep, installing an access panel on sheetmetal where you would want to bolt on a cover and more.
Quite a few Motobilt products include rivnuts for installation. In many cases, we ship the rivnuts with the product so that you have exactly what you need to install your new Motobilt products. Sometimes during installation, things go wrong and you may need some extras. So we thought we would offer them up on the website.
