At Motobilt, we're proud to be part of a tight-knit off-roading community. Our wheeling family includes the incredible team at Rockstar Garage, and we're excited to share their recent adventure at Morris Mountain Off-road Park, right here in our home state of Alabama.
The Rockstar Garage crew recently tackled the challenging terrain at Morris Mountain in Delta, Alabama during the Great American Crawl event, pushing their rigs to the limit and showcasing the true spirit of off-roading.
The two-day event saw the team face a variety of obstacles:
Day 1: The Rock Side The first day set the tone for the weekend, with drivers navigating the rocky terrain. This section, while challenging, helped build confidence for the more intimidating obstacles to come.
Day 2: The Hillside Day two ramped up the difficulty, with steep climbs and technical maneuvers that tested both driver skill and vehicle capability. The team faced obstacles like "Rock and Roll" and "Los Primos," a legendary bouncer obstacle from years past.
Throughout the event, drivers pushed their limits, tackling intimidating climbs and descents. The park's extreme side lived up to its reputation, offering heart-pounding challenges that demanded precision and nerve.
One of the most intense moments came when Alex attempted a tricky line on a steep climb. Despite a valiant effort, the vehicle ended up on its top. This incident highlighted the importance of proper safety equipment - something we at Motobilt always emphasize. The driver walked away unharmed, thanks to a robust roll cage, quality seats, and reliable harnesses.
The event wasn't without its share of mechanical challenges. From electrical issues to radiator damage, the teams demonstrated their problem-solving skills and camaraderie, working together to keep the rigs running and the adventure going.
As the weekend came to a close, the sky opened up, adding an extra layer of excitement (and mud) to the proceedings. Despite the rain, spirits remained high as prizes were awarded and plans were made for future events.
