Rolling Through Choccolocco: A Wild Off-Road Adventure with RockstarGarage

The team from RockstarGarage takes us on another thrilling Great American Crawl adventure in their video, "Great Times Rolling Around Choccolocco." This time, they revisit the rugged Choccolocco Mountain ORV Park in Alabama—a spot known for its intimidating terrain and demanding trails. If you’re into off-roading, this is one video you don’t want to miss.

Back to Choccolocco

Choccolocco is no stranger to the RockstarGarage crew, but this trip presented a whole new set of challenges. Unlike their previous visit, which was dominated by wet and muddy conditions, this time the park was dry and dusty. This change in the environment brought its own difficulties, making for a tough but exciting weekend.

Challenges on the Trails

The first day was all about conquering the park’s toughest obstacles. The group faced a particularly tricky ledge, which required some serious winching due to the challenging angles and slick logs. As always, the diverse range of vehicles in the group handled the terrain differently—some struggled with the park’s steep climbs and loose rocks, while others found themselves maneuvering through tight spots that tested their size and weight.

On-Trail Repairs and Adjustments

Off-roading isn’t just about driving; it’s also about overcoming the inevitable vehicle issues that arise. During the weekend, the team had to deal with various breakdowns, including valve stem and hydro line failures. But as seasoned off-roaders know, these setbacks are all part of the experience. The crew pulled together, made the necessary repairs, and kept the adventure rolling.

Conquering Hell's Revenge and Cherry Bomb

Among the many trails the group tackled were Hell's Revenge and Cherry Bomb. These runs were packed with challenges, from navigating loose rocks to powering up steep inclines. At one point, one of the vehicles even ended up on its roof! Thankfully, the driver was safely buckled in, and the team executed a successful recovery, showing just how important teamwork and preparation are in off-roading.

Reflections on a Tough, Fun Day

While we didn’t attend this event, we’re proud to see that some of the toughest rigs out there were showing off MotoBilt products. Andy Orlando in ProjectOverkill_JT and Jordan Davis in Recoil_TJ both brought their A-game along with many other vehicles that feature a wide range of our products. It’s always exciting to see how our gear performs in the real world, especially in challenging environments like Choccolocco.

The video wraps up with the crew reflecting on their day at Choccolocco. Despite the vehicle issues, difficult terrain, and a few heart-stopping moments, everyone agreed it was a blast. It’s clear that, for this group, the tougher the conditions, the more rewarding the adventure.
