Not often do you come across such a beautifully restored Jeep as the one shown here. This Jeep CJ-7 started life as most project Jeeps do completely stock. Larry started this project roughly 1 1/2 years ago. As you can see he built this Jeep with a lot of love as it is gorgeous. The Jeep features the Motobilt mid width front bumper with stinger. Mounted at top the bumper is a Superwinch 9500lb winch and lighting up the night is a Motobilt winch fair lead 13.5" light bar bracket and light.
The motivation underneath the hood is a rebuilt tried and true AMC 304 V-8 with a GM HEI ignition upgrade and cam. The power is transmitted down the line to a TF 999 automatic transmission and then split to both front and rear with dana 300 transfer case. Out back the AMC Model 20 rear end was beefed up with a 1 piece axle it while a set of Warn premium locking hubs were installed up front.
A rough country 2.5" lift kit was installed to make rum for the 31x10.50x15 BFG AT's on 15x8 XD wheels. In order to fit a full size spare tire the Motobilt crew custom built a one of a kind tire carrier for the Motobilt Jeep rock crawler rear bumper. This one time only tire carrier holds the larger tire quite easily and a Motobilt tag relocation bracket was installed with an Off Road Only tag light kit. Another slick feature from Off Road Only are their low profile Led tail lights.
Nothing was left out on the build of Larry's CJ so he didn't stop when it came to the interior. All new carpeting, Bestop soft top, and Corbeau seats were installed. In front a set of the Corbeau XRS reclining seats were installed while in back a 36" Baja bench suspension seat was utilized. This setup not only looks fantastic but its makes those long road trips in a CJ that much better.
