Mid Frame Section for Jeep YJ / TJ / LJ

The Motobilt MB3080 Mid Frame Section is designed for Jeep YJ, TJ, and LJ builds where the chassis is being rebuilt from the ground up using Motobilt front and back half kits.

Once a build moves beyond the limitations of the factory frame, the center section of the chassis often becomes the next weak point. Rust, damage, and the limitations of the original frame design make it difficult to properly support modern suspension systems and larger axles.

The MB3080 replaces the center portion of the frame and connects the Motobilt front half and back half sections into one continuous structure. By eliminating the factory center frame section, builders can create a stronger chassis foundation designed to support long travel suspension systems, larger tires, and aggressive off-road use.

Constructed from 3/16 inch steel, this mid frame section provides the structural backbone that ties the entire chassis together. The result is a frame that works as a single unit instead of relying on sections of factory frame that were never designed for extreme suspension loads.
