El Jefe has been part of the GSMJI scene before. This photo catches it parked in front of the Hard Rock Cafe in Pigeon Forge, the home of our annual Motobilt party during GSMJI.
The show brings everyone together around Jeeps and parts. The Hard Rock party gives the Motobilt crew, customers, friends, and industry people a chance to step away from the booth, catch up, and make another year of GSMJI memories.

Meet the Motobilt Crew at GSMJI
This is not a booth staffed by people reading talking points. These are the people who lead the company, run operations, build the brand, answer technical questions, cut the parts, and design the next generation of Motobilt machines.
Dan DuBose, Founder and President/CEO
Dan founded Motobilt in 2012 after years of building one-off off-road projects at Blue Torch FabWorks. He brings decades of fabrication, product design, chassis, and rock-crawling experience to the booth. If you want to talk big-picture build strategy, manufacturing, or how to make an entire build work as a system, start a conversation with Dan.
Hunter DuBose, Chief Operations Officer
Hunter has been part of the journey from the Blue Torch years through the growth of Motobilt. As Chief Operations Officer, she helps keep the people, equipment, manufacturing, and day-to-day business moving together. She also helped turn the idea of BILTCON into a real off-road event and is getting hands-on with Motobilt's portal buggy projects. Ask Hunter what it takes to move a part from an idea to a repeatable, American-made product.
Aaron Mercer, Brand Manager
Aaron is making the haul from Hurricane, Utah. His role has grown from West Coast sales into leading brand relationships with dealers, distributors, customers, and industry partners. He represents Motobilt at events, spends time with customers on the trail, and has earned a reputation as a seasoned spotter. Talk with Aaron about products, partnerships, western wheeling, and how the right parts fit into the way you actually use your rig.
“The Bobby Cox,” Technical Support and Sales
Bobby is the person customers want when the question gets technical. His experience covers Motobilt products, fitment, chassis systems, suspension choices, armor, and the details that separate a clean install from a frustrating one. He has also shared that knowledge through Motobilt technical articles and event interviews. The legend started at Jeep Beach in 2018, but the tech knowledge is very real. If Bobby starts talking, listen closely.
Hudson DuBose, Laser Operator, Saturday
Hudson grew up around Jeeps, fabrication, and the Motobilt shop. Years ago, customers watched him tear into his first YJ with Dan. Today he operates the laser that cuts the steel behind Motobilt parts and contributes to the company's in-house build projects. He will arrive Saturday after staying back long enough to make sure the laser keeps doing laser things and production keeps moving.
Denver Scheider, CAD Design / Product Development, Saturday
Denver brings engineering depth and CAD precision to Motobilt's portal buggy program. He handles design work, refines suspension geometry before the first tube is cut, and helps turn a screen full of numbers into a machine that can survive serious rock crawling. He is breaking away from buggy duties to join the booth Saturday, then heading to the WARN ride at Windrock after GSMJI.
