Fold Down Aluminum Tailgate for Jeep CJ, YJ, TJ & LJ

Constructed using thick high grade CNC laser cut & formed aluminum, this Fold Down Aluminum Tailgate kit for Jeep CJ, YJ, TJ & LJ will replace the swinging factory tailgate, giving you to a slick, strong fold down replacement.‌

Included with the kit are lockable compression latches with keys, quality hinges, automotive grade tailgate cables & all of the fasteners to make the installation quick & easy. Our detailed step-by-step installation instructions will guide you through the entire installation process from start to finish.

This kit will work with or without corner armor. We also include cover plates for the factory hinge holes when the factory hinges are removed for a complete & finished look. 

All parts are shipped bare metal. Aluminum parts may require some finish work so that you can paint to match or leave it as-is. 

Important Note:  Will NOT fit if running the MB5000 fuel cell in a Jeep YJ.

Does not fit Jeep CJ-5.
