What's Included Assembly Instructions

The MB7018 Skid Kit is a replacement belly skid to add the necessary fitment for the additional engine skid. This IS NOT the full suspension system. 

  • Skid Replacement: This kit replaces your Gen 1 skid plate so you can add the included JKU engine skid.
  • Superior Construction: Crafted from durable 3/16" steel for high strength and resilience against rough terrain.
  • Engine Oil Access Door: Features a strategically placed access door to facilitate easy oil changes without the need to remove the skid.
  • Front Driveshaft Acess Door: The removable door allows you to get to the front driveshaft yoke at the transfer case without having to remove the entire skid plate.
  • Streamlined Design: Engineered to be completely smooth with no protrusions or bolt heads, ensuring your Jeep slides over obstacles without snagging.

  • Fittment: This is a replacement skid that allows the JKU engine skid to be used. This is the correct kit you need if you want to add an engine skid to a Gen 1 MB7000 or MB7001 kit. If you have a Gen 2 kit use MB1267 Engine Skid.
