Why replace the factory rear shock mounts and crossmember?
The factory rear suspension layout limits shock length and mounting position. Replacing the factory structure allows proper placement of longer coilovers or ORI struts while improving suspension packaging and travel.
What size coilovers will this system support?
The system is designed around 14-inch and 16-inch coilovers mounted on top of the axle.
Will this work with ORI struts?
Yes. The shock towers are compatible with ORI struts when mounted on top of the axle.
Do I need a Motobilt fuel cell to use this system?
No. The system is designed to work with either the factory fuel tank or the Motobilt rear-mounted fuel cell.
What rear suspension configurations is this designed for?
This system is designed to work with standard Jeep JK and JKU 3 or 4-link rear suspension setups and is commonly used on long-travel suspension builds.
Is welding required?
Yes. This is a fabrication component that requires cutting and welding during installation.
