Every well-built roll cage starts with solid mounting points. While tube layout varies from build to build, the foundation of the cage determines how loads are transferred into the body. Builders designing a custom cage for a Jeep JK need mounting brackets that fit the vehicle correctly and provide a strong starting point without having to fabricate every attachment from scratch.
The Motobilt Roll Cage Bracket Kit is designed for builders who want to fabricate their own custom internal roll cage while starting with brackets engineered specifically for the 2007-2018 Jeep Wrangler JK. Rather than purchasing a complete cage kit, this bracket package provides the mounting structure needed to begin designing a cage that matches your own suspension, seating, drivetrain, and intended use.
Manufactured from A36 steel in the USA, these brackets are precision cut and formed to match the Jeep JK body. They eliminate hours of layout work and allow builders to focus on tube placement, triangulation, and overall cage design instead of fabricating mounting plates from scratch.
Whether you're building a competition-inspired crawler, an overland rig, or a purpose-built trail Jeep, the MB3032-2 Roll Cage Bracket Kit provides a proven foundation for a fully custom cage. It is an ideal starting point for fabricators who already have access to tubing and a tube bender but want mounting brackets designed around the JK platform.
Like all Motobilt products, these brackets were designed by builders who understand Jeep packaging, fabrication, and the demands of serious off-road use.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is included in the Roll Cage Bracket Kit?
The MB3032-2 includes the steel mounting brackets used to build a custom internal roll cage. Tubing, bends, and cage crossmembers are not included.
Does this include the roll cage tubing?
No. This listing is for the bracket kit only. It is intended for builders who want to design and fabricate their own custom cage using their preferred tubing and layout.
Why would I buy the bracket kit instead of the complete Motobilt Roll Cage Kit?
The bracket kit gives experienced fabricators the freedom to build a completely custom cage while starting with mounting brackets engineered specifically for the Jeep JK. It saves time by eliminating the need to fabricate body mounting plates from scratch.
What material are the brackets made from?
The brackets are manufactured from A36 steel and ship bare for welding and final coating.
Is welding required?
Yes. This product is intended for experienced builders and requires welding and fabrication to complete the roll cage.
Does this fit both 2-door and 4-door Jeep JK models?
The MB3032-2 Roll Cage Bracket Kit is designed to fit 2007-2018 Jeep Wrangler JK models. Because this kit only includes the mounting brackets, builders can design the cage layout to suit their specific project.
Can I use this to build my own competition or trail cage?
Yes. This kit was created specifically for builders who want to fabricate their own cage while starting with brackets designed around the Jeep JK body structure. Tube design, triangulation, and overall cage geometry are left entirely to the builder.
