What does the bull bar add to the Tomahawk bumper?
The integrated bull bar helps protect the winch, fairlead, and front grille area from trail impacts. It adds front-end protection while keeping the same high-clearance Tomahawk frame chop profile.
Can I still route the winch line straight down with the bull bar version?
Yes. This bumper still includes the secondary underside winch line opening that allows straight-down routing to the axle. Builders use this setup to suck down the front suspension and improve stability on steep climbs.
What winches fit the Tomahawk Front Winch Bumper with Bull Bar?
The bumper uses a 10 inch by 4.5 inch winch mounting pattern and fits a wide range of recovery winches. It accepts the full Warn Zeon and EVO lines up to the Warn Zeon 12-S Platinum. It does not fit the Warn MB8274 or CTI models, and offset winches are not recommended.
What fairleads work with this bumper?
The fairlead mounting pattern measures 10 inches center to center and works with most Hawse fairleads. Roller fairleads are not recommended for this application.
Will my factory sway bar work with this bumper?
On JK / JKU models, the factory sway bar can be reused, but the Rubicon electronic disconnect sway bar is not compatible. On JL / JLU / JT models, the factory sway bar can be modified to fit, but the Rubicon electronic disconnect sway bar is still not compatible. Currie Antirock and other RockJock sway bar options are also supported.
