Motobilt, Inc., is looking for a motivated 3D Printing Technician to take the lead in our growing additive manufacturing department. If you’re experienced with 3D printers and want to be part of an innovative team building off-road products, we want to hear from you!

Job Overview

The Additive Manufacturing Technician supports the daily operation of Motobilt’s additive manufacturing department. This position assists with print preparation, machine operation, post-processing, maintenance, and general production support while developing the skills needed to operate the equipment independently.

Responsibilities

  • Run and maintain 3D printers and related equipment
  • Set up jobs, slice models, and prepare files for printing
  • Inspect and finish parts (cleaning, curing, light sanding, etc.)
  • Work with engineers to adjust designs for printability
  • Troubleshoot printer or material issues as needed
  • Keep records of production and materials used
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area

Requirements

  • Experience with 3D printing, CAD, mechatronics, equipment maintenance, or similar hands-on technical work
  • Basic mechanical troubleshooting ability
  • Basic knowledge of CAD (Fusion 360, Inventor, or SolidWorks is a plus.)
  • Comfortable learning technical software and equipment
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in your work
  • Good communication and time management skills
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently
  • Background in manufacturing, prototyping, or automotive parts

This is a full-time on-site position in Ozark, AL.

Due to the nature of our multi-team approach to design projects, this position is located in-house, requiring you to be on site working side by side with us at our facility. We are not looking for remote workers, contractors, or non-US citizens currently. You will be willing to relocate to the Dothan/Ozark, AL area.

Salary depends on education/experience.

Monday through Friday 8:00am until 5:00pm
