Motobilt Polaris RZR 1000 Build

Motobilt recently purchased a 2014 Polaris RZR 1000 to utilize as a base to develop a new product line. Life got a little busy after making the purchase and it had to sit for a while. Over the past couple weeks we have gotten busy working on the RZR. The first project we decided to tackle was the stock rollcage. The factory RZR 1000 rollcage was removed and the custom fabrication process was started. We decided to build this a trail oriented roll cage with race inspired design cues. The main reason for stating it that was is the cage was fabricated from 1-3/4" x .120" wall DOM tubing. If I were building to race I would have varied to the tube wall thickness and went with 4130 tubing. The cage is fully TIG welded. Other modifications will be posted soon. We do not want to add too much about what are building at this time. Motobilt will be introducing new products for the side by side industry soon.
