When stretching a 2 door Jeep JK, moving the rear axle back creates a gap between the rocker and the rear tire. The factory rocker no longer lines up with the new wheel opening, leaving the body exposed and the build looking incomplete.
The Motobilt aluminum stretch rocker armor extends the rocker length to match the stretched wheelbase while reducing weight compared to steel. It restores proper proportions and provides protection where the factory body falls short.
Designed to pair with MB1138 stretch corner armor, this system allows the rocker, corner, and wheel opening to work together for proper clearance and clean body lines.

Frequently Asked Questions
Why choose aluminum rocker armor?
Aluminum reduces weight while still providing protection for most off-road use.
Why do you need stretch rocker armor on a Jeep JK?
Stretching the rear axle creates a gap behind the rocker. This fills that gap and protects the body while keeping everything lined up correctly.
Will these work on a stock wheelbase JK?
No. These are designed for stretched applications.
Do these require welding?
No. These bolt to the body using nutserts.
