Installing aftermarket front bucket seats into your 2 door Jeep JL or 4 door Jeep JLU is quick, easy & secure using the Motobilt MB2152 JL/JLU Adjustable Front Seat Mounts. (Offroad Use Only. See Note Below)
These seat mounts are designed specifically for aftermarket bucket seats with a mounting hole pattern measuring 14" wide x 18" deep. This is a very common hole mounting pattern for many aftermarket seat manufacturers. We designed the seat mounts using PRP brand seats, but they mounts are not just limited to the PRP brand.
No two drivers are the same size, thus, we built in a lot of adjustability.
Included are a pair of heavy duty spring loaded adjustable seat sliders which provide 7" of fore-aft seat travel. You can install your aftermarket seats up to 2" lower than your factory seats set in their lowest position. This is a great feature for tall drivers & for those with aftermarket cages. We also include seat riser/recline angle adjuster plates. These plates rise the seat 2" in the front while allowing you to adjust to 3 different fixed recline angles.
All parts are constructed using strong 3/16" thick high grade steel that is laser cut & CNC formed throughout. The lower brackets were precision designed to fit the unique contours of the Jeep JL floor & bolt directly into the factory seat mounts reusing the factory hardware.
We've even included a submarine belt mounting point for those choosing to use a 5 point harness. And the submarine belt mounting point moves with the seat sliders, which eliminates the need to readjust the belt when you slide the seat forwards or backwards.
All parts are shipped as raw steel, ready for your favorite custom paint or powder coat color. Kit includes all fasteners. Detailed step-by-step installation instructions are available on this page.
INSTALLATION NOTE:
Because aftermarket seats alter the sensors in the front seats and can effect air bag deployment this product is considered an offroad use only product. This type of product is typically used in more extreme builds.
