A key part of this system is the steering box relocation built into the front half design. The kit moves the steering box forward 2 1/8 inches and raises it 5/8 inch. That solves a common issue on low center of gravity builds running 2005 and newer Super Duty axles, where the axle housing can contact the steering box at full compression. Instead of limiting up travel or raising ride height, the steering box is moved into a position that better supports suspension travel and axle clearance.
