There comes a point in a JK build where the factory front frame becomes the limiting factor.
Low center of gravity setups, 05 and newer Super Duty axles, larger tires, and long travel coilovers all start competing for the same space. The MB3103 Front Half Kit replaces that compromise with structure that actually supports the direction the build is going.
This system moves the steering box forward 2 1/8 inches and up 5/8 inch. That upward movement corrects a common issue on low CG builds running 05 and newer Super Duty axles where the axle housing contacts the steering box at full compression. Instead of limiting up travel or raising ride height, the steering box is repositioned where it should have been from the beginning.
The kit allows for up to a 3 inch front stretch while retaining a steering box configuration. Custom steering and track bar solutions may be required depending on axle choice and overall suspension layout.
With room for up to a 3.0 16 inch coilover, the front of the Jeep is no longer forced to work around factory constraints. The structure supports long travel suspension while maintaining compatibility with JK 4 link systems.
RockJock front sway bar fitment is integrated into the layout, and provisions are made for relocating ABS and electronics as required for a clean and functional install.
This is not just clearance. It is a structural reset of the front chassis.
