14 Bolt Rear Axle Truss for 4" Dia Tubes

Building a rear 4 link suspension on a custom 14 Bolt axle assembly with 4 inch axle tubes does not have to be difficult. The Motobilt truss offers a heavy-duty solution for this application.
The truss main body is laser cut and formed from 1/2” thick steel plate. The pinion guard is made from laser cut and formed 3/8” steel plate. The plate gussets for the truss are 3/16” steel plate. This kit is shipped unwelded. The installer will need to assemble and weld into place on the axle assembly. Holes for vent tubes will need to be drilled in the location you want. Some trimming of the gusset plates may be needed if installing an ARB Airlocker. 14 Bolt center sections with the ribs will need to be slightly clearanced with a grinder on the top to allow the truss to sit all the way down on the axle tunes. Longer bolts for the pinion support are included with the kit.
Depending on the center casting some trimming may be needed on the 3/16” plate gussets for them to fit.
***THIS TRUSS IS DESIGNED TO FIT CUSTOM AXLE ASSEMBLIES THAT HAVE BEEN UPGRADED TO 4” DIAMETER AXLE TUBES. AXLES PULLED FROM FACTORY VEHICLES WILL NOT WORK.
