As suspension demands increase on the Jeep JT Gladiator, the factory rear shock location becomes a limitation. Builders looking to run coilovers need additional height, stronger mounting points, and a redesigned structure to properly package the suspension. At the same time, the rear frame and body mount area remains a known weak point under heavy use.
The Motobilt Rear Coilover Bracket Add-On was designed to address both of these issues. This system replaces the factory rear body mount location with a reinforced structure that creates a new mounting position for coilover shocks while strengthening the frame.
Unlike brackets that retain the factory shock position, this design raises and repositions the upper mount to accommodate 2.5 inch by 12 inch coilovers. The added height allows for proper shock travel and suspension geometry while maintaining a tight, functional layout in the rear of the chassis.
This kit also includes the axle side coilover mount, providing a complete solution for converting the rear suspension to a coilover setup. It creates a stronger, more capable mounting system designed for increased suspension loads and aggressive off-road use.
This is not a factory replacement bracket. It is a suspension upgrade and frame reinforcement system intended for builds moving beyond factory shock limitations.
Like all Motobilt components, this system was designed by builders who understand suspension packaging, frame stress, and real-world off-road performance.
