When rear stretch towers are installed, the job is not finished until the interior is cleaned up and protected.
The MB5551 Rear Tower Covers are built specifically for the MB1580 Rear Stretch Towers and finish the installation the right way. These covers are formed with larger radius bends to prevent cargo, straps, or gear from catching on sharp edges inside the tub.
An integrated access door allows you to reach the upper shock bolts without removing the entire cover. Serviceability remains part of the design, even after the towers are enclosed.
When installed with body seam sealer, the covers allow the tub to be completely sealed from the elements. That means no open gaps, no exposed seams, and a cleaner finished interior once the suspension structure is tied in.
These are not cosmetic plates. They complete the structural modification while keeping the interior usable.
